Hotel in Paris for 3 nights in June, wife and 19 yr old daughter and me.

Not really doing touristy things. Looking for nice local feel. Any thoughts and suggestions welcome. Thanks!

Budget? That makes a huge difference. Here are two suggestions at opposite ends of the price spectrum: Hotel d’Aubusson and Hotel Diana. Yesterday, an acquaintance claimed that the Hotel Diana discriminates against French speakers, which I thought was hysterical. It has no bearing on your question BTW but the idea amuses me so much that I decided to mention it. I have no idea how a hotel has a local feel given that locals do not tend to need hotels but if you want a “real-life, honest to goodness real people live in the area” Paris ‘hood around the hotel, what about Hotel Nadaud in the 20th arrondissement?

do you mean just the wife and daughter or the three of you?

with only 15 words in the question it leaves so many of your needs wants and desires open to guesswork. budget and previous visit experience in Paris or Europe also not mentioned

Our go-to hotel, on several trips to Paris, has been the Hotel Familia, in the great Latin Quarter neighborhood, which sometimes has 19-year-old university students in the area, too. It’s got an affordable price, is convenient enough for someone who did want to see a museum or sight or two, but isn’t a place that tour group buses bring a bunch of people to stay.

The Familia doesn’t include breakfast in their room rate, but their sister hotel next door, The Minerve, does. Maybe start your hotel search with these?

I see you have changed the title of the question.

So will you be happy with 3 beds in one room or do you need two rooms?

If budget is not too big a concern the Hotel Mayfair near Place de la Concorde is wonderful. Great location and great hotel.

"what about Hotel Nadaud in the 20th arrondissement?"

Plenty of local feel in an area full of cafes, theaters, shopping, totally off the tourist track. Close to #69 bus and glorious examples of French Art Deco.

I was thinking of Hotel Diana, but they only book 4 months ahead. I emailed them for clarification.
No way I could stand waiting that long to book a hotel. : )

Hotel Diana let me book 5 months ahead (reserved in October for March).
(edit to add: it was an online booking using their website)
