My husband and I are going to Paris in the beginning of April. We narrowed it down to 2 hotels. The Hoxton Paris or Hotel Napoleon Paris Champs-Elysees. Has anyone ever stayed at either of these hotels? Any information would greatly be appreciated. Thank you for all comments.
Purely on location alone, I'd pick the Napoléon. The area around the Arc du Triomphe is pretty uninspiring.
Based on location alone, I would choose the Hoxton because I find the area around the Arc boring. But what style do you prefer? The Hoxton is a more modern (dare I say it) more trendy/hip property. And it’s it in a more trendy, fun area. I have not stayed there so I know nothing about the rooms but the public (bar/restaurant) area is lovely. Hotel Napoleon style wise is more traditional. For my taste, the Hoxton would be a no brainer but on the other hand, I know many people who like a more traditional style and maybe they would like the Napoleon better.
Clearly, I mis-typed. The Hoxton is the preferable location. Sorry about the confusion.
