My husband and I are going on our honeymoon and want to find a hotel in the best area in Nice and St Tropez. We are stay in Nice for 5 days and St Tropez for 1 or 2. Also if you have any ideas on where to stay in Cinque Terre for a night. Our friend stayed at the best western Roosevelt in Nice and loved the location. Only thing is the time we are traveling from July 19 - 25/26 its over $1200 USD.

Ricks' guidebooks provide all of his lodging suggestions, but if you're traveling this month, you'll want to "cast a wide net" to find availability. It may be faster to turn to booking.com or similar search engine to find who has rooms available and choose between those.
I have RS France book, but not the French Riviera book. I just wanted some good hotel ideas for St Tropez and cinque terre as of what neighborhoods are good and/or hotels/apartments/lofts! Just any information is a blessing :) I am continuously looking at booking.com, thank you!
