Hotel in Arles

Would anybody have any recent recommendations for a hotel in Arles, in mid-May.

Some while ago we stayed at the Hôtel de l'Amphithéâtre in Arles and were quite pleased. Our room was gigantic, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We had a car and parked in the municipal garage which was a short and convenient walk from the hotel. Parking may have been available but the small narrow streets gave us the nerves and we opted for a short walk and immediate access to main streets. Reviews on booking still look quite favorable. We would return without hesitation. Prices look reasonable still. Arles was a big favorite. Safe travels.

We stayed here: https://www.hotelatrium.com
They have a garage but we had failed to book that ahead and were there on a festival weekend so had to find parking a long ways way -- The hotel is VERY conveniently located - an easy stroll to the historic center sites. They were doing the bull running when we were there and we walked only a block to so to find ourselves just in time for the running of the bulls. the hotel is basic but adequate and the location can't be beat. And reserve garage space ahead.

I stayed at the Hotel du Musee last April and enjoyed it. It's nothing fancy, but it felt very French to me. I had the small double on the upper floor which overlooked a quiet street and the Musee Reattu. The staff were very friendly and I thought their breakfast was yummy.

Thanks to all of you. We won't have a car, arriving via train, so parking is not an issue. Do any of these hotels have an elevator/lift?

I stayed here for two nights a couple of years ago: Hotel de la Muette
it's in the Rick Steves book.
a short walk to the train station.
I don't recall if there was an elevator or not.

I second the recommendation for Hotel de la Muette. They have a variety of different room types, and I found my stay quite comfortable. They do have some ground floor rooms, so if stairs are an issue, you likely could request one of those.
