Hotel in Arles?

Thanks in advance for any hotel or B&B recommendations for Arles. We are traveling there in mid-Sept 2024 for a couple of nights before meeting our river cruise ship. Budget is about 200-260 Euro per night.

We stayed in the Best Western Atrium which is right at the edge of the historic center and an easy walk to the baths, the arena etc etc. We were there for the running of the bulls which was a block from the hotel. The rooms are ordinary but fine. There is a swimming pool on the roof. the breakfast was fine. We had booked during their main festival in September not realizing it and it was chaos and we were grateful to have a room and to be so central. Not a charming place but very good location.

I spent 6 nights at Hotel le Calendal in Arles, pre-Covid. It was an excellent location and my room was lovely. I was on a Road Scholar tour so there were complaints from tour members that the hotel does not have an elevator and people were having to take their bag up a flight of stairs. I pack light so not an issue for me. It's located facing the Roman Theater and as you step out the front door you can see the Roman Arena to the right. It is advertised as a spa as well but I'm not a spa person so did not even walk over to that area. There is a lovely courtyard where I had drinks one evening. I did not check the room rates to see if they are in your price range but this hotel is used by both Road Scholar and Rick Steves tours so it should be in the moderate category.

We stayed at the Mgallery hotel and can’t recommend it enough.
It was perfectly located and great service. I’d stay there again.
