hotel haut marais

There are lots of reviews on Trip Advisor, mostly good. Having looked at the hotel's website, do you not think it is pretty expensive for what is in essence a B&B?

Please take a look at the reviews on TripAdvisor. In the case of this hotel, they are remarkably accurate in their descriptions of the look and feel of the place. This blurb from the website absolutely captures the essence of this hotel: "Consisting of only 5 double rooms, 2 suites and 1 apartment for 4 people, we operate not as a traditional hotel, but as a guest house. We welcome you with us as we live locally. Our desire is to provide you the comfort of a traditional hotel with the personal hospitality of the guesthouse." I am not a fan of guesthouses and B&Bs or feeling like I am staying in someone's home so this was a bad choice for me but if you like that sort of thing, then this is would be the place to go.

Thanks for the responses. I'm just starting my search and did see the reviews on tripadvisor. I am looking to stay in the Marais. Also looking at hotel Jeanne d'Arc. I'm open to guest house or hotel. Just don't want a shared bath.
