Hotel for Best of Paris in 7 Days?

My wife and I are considering the Best of Paris in 7 Days tour in May, 2017.

Does the tour select a hotel in the same part of Paris each time, or does it vary?

If it's the same part of the city, which do they select?

Thanks much, Jon

I have only taken one tour with RS,, and my friend took the same tour.. but 2 months later.

We stayed in different hotels in Paris.

Does it matter.. perhaps contact RS and ask if they already have hotels chosen., if you are looking for next year obviously not.. but if tour you are looking at is within next month or two perhaps they already know.

BTW.. neither of our RS tour hotels were in the 7th on Rue Cler ( thank goodness) ..

I went on the Best of Paris tour twice in 2006 and 2007 and stayed at Hotel de Londres Eiffel and I know a woman who stayed there on the same tour in 2015. They seem to use that hotel a lot for their Paris week long tours. That said, they can change the hotels and you never know what hotel you will stay at. I have been on 13 tours and they are always changing hotels. What one tour may stay at is not what the next week's tour will stay at. But where ever you stay, the tour is great and don't let that deter you from taking the Best of Paris tour! It is a really great tour and you really get to see Paris and learn all about how to get around Paris. If you are concerned about the hotel, as others have said you can call the office. But they will not know right now what hotel they will be using for May 2017. If you choose this tour, I am sure you will enjoy it. Have a great time!

Pat,

My wife and I took the Best of Paris tour in 2015 and stayed at the Duquesne Eiffel Hotel in the 7th and we had a WONDERFUL time. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfasts fantastic and for reasons known only to Bacchus, I was poured -- and on more than one occasion -- a half-tumbler of Dahlwinnie single malt scoth for 10 euros. I'm talking an upend-the-bottle-and-count-the-seconds pour. There was easily 30 euro worth of scotch in that glass. And each time, the desk clerk cum bartender pocketed my 10 euro (plus generous tip) and went back to being bored behind the desk.

Given that and a lot of other fun things, we found the 7th wonderful and plan to return to it next year for our 9-day stay.
