Hotel d'Argouges, Hotel Churchill or Le Lion d'Or in Bayeux?

Trying to decide between these hotels in Bayeux for my family of 4 for 3 nights.
All have very good reviews on Trip Advisor.
Le Lion d'Or is offering a suite - 2 rooms connecting I think
Hotel d'Argouges is offering a suite for one night then having to switch to a family room for the last two nights.
Hotel Churchill is offering two connecting rooms.
I was leaning towards Hotel d'Argouges but am not super excited about changing rooms.
I would love to hear from folks who have stayed at either/both.
Thanks!

I've spent time in Bayeux and stay at Hotel le Bayeux, which I really recommend, but I've also walked by all these other hotels and would say to choose the Hotel Churchill based on location. It's on a picturesque street by the canal, tapistry museum, and close to the cathedral. I have eaten at its restaurant, which was just okay food. You really can't go wrong though: you will love the town. Don't miss the cathedral.

We stayed at Hotel Churchill for three nights in May of 2013 and enjoyed it very much. Nice comfortable, clean, spacious double room with a great breakfast. Close to the tapestry and the pickup spot for our Overload Tour. I would definitely stay there again.

I second what Scott posted,we stayed at the end of April 2013 and is an ideal location for the D Day tour bus pickup and there is also parking within one block from the Churchill. The D Day tour is a very inspiring tour.

The wifi is not good in the rooms at the Churchill but works great in the room downstairs with the bar -- and the hotelkeeper will get you lovely local drinks while you relax and surf or socialize in this area. As everyone has noted, the Churchill has a really good location and we like the old fashioned feel and the WWII memorabilia everywhere.

There are a couple of snapshots of the Churchill. We did the Overlord full day tour of the American beaches on our full day there.

We stayed at the Churchill and really enjoyed it. Great location and the room was comfortable. The Tapestry is a short walk away and the main part of town is just outside your door.

I'm too late responding to help you decide but for others reading this thread I just wanted to say we've stayed at Hotel d'Argouges 6 or more times and love it. Wonderful hotel, owner and staff.
I wrote a review with more info on this site under Hotel Reviews.
