Hotel Beaugency, Paris

I have read your summary of the Hotel Beaugency in Paris which appealed to me. After talking with a friend who just stayed there in May, I am having second thoughts. She said there were "management issues"; that they weren't very attentive or helpful. Does anyone out there have any feedback on this particular hotel in Paris. I like the location.

Some of our tour groups stay at the Beaugency, and we have not identified a particular pattern of complaints. I was comfortable staying there on a couple of occasions. I wouldn't necessarily expect a friendly welcome at most Paris hotels, but would expect them to take care of specific requests like booking a taxi or storing luggage. Maybe you will get some feedback from others who stayed more recently.
