Can anyone recommend hotel at CDG for next morning departure back to U.S. Early May. Will be coming back from Bayeux night before, flight @ 1320 next day.

We have stayed at the Novotel which made for easy access to Paris for the evening and then to the terminal in the morning and is fairly cheap.
Since your plane is not until 1:20, you could also just get a hotel in Paris and take a cab or train to the airport to get there at 10:30.
In any case, I would recommend not planning to eat at the airport hotels; worse meal we ever had in Europe was at the airport Hilton and it cost a fortune for awfulness. Either get in mid afternoon and take the train into town for the evening and dinner and then return for the night or stay in Paris and enjoy a last evening stroll and dinner and take transport out at 9:30 next morning. Or plan to get dinner on the drive back from Bayeux and check in late at the airport hotel.

We looked into different hotel rooms at CDG for the other end of our trip (night of arrival instead of night of departure). Our criteria were cost, convenience and traveller reviews but we put an emphasis on having a comfortable bed and avoiding a cramped room (since we will have "slept" on the airplane the previous night). Your criteria and priorities could be different of course but we booked a room at the Hilton. It was only $128 on Priceline, which I thought was a very good price for a major-city airport hotel.
Our trip is still coming up so I can't tell you if we're happy with our choice.
