Hotel and Airbnb recommends for Paris in September

Three friends and I (4 senior women) just booked a “Best of Ireland” tour for September. We will be traveling first to Paris where we’ll spend a few days. Any recommends on hotels or Airbnb's centrally located? Thanks in advance for your advice..

What is your budget? For a hotel are you looking for four rooms, one room for four, or two doubles?

We’re not sure but an Airbnb for 4 - 2 bedrooms and 2 baths or two separate hotel rooms. We’ll all be sharing the expense so something moderately priced? We don’t need 5 star but clean and nice in a good location.

I'm a solo senior woman and enjoy the area around Rue Cler. I know many on this forum don't think it's a fun place to stay but I enjoy it for the many restaurants where I can have a glass or two of wine and still get myself home after dinner, lol. (Lightweight drinker here!!) From here it takes me about 30 minutes to walk to the Musee d'Orsay and about 15 minutes more to the Louvre. The area is accessed by Metro line 8 at either Ecole Militaire or La Tour Maubourg so for me it is easy to get around.

My current favorites are Hotel Muguet and Hotel Relais Bosquet.

Both have 24-hr manned front desks which I like to have as a solo traveler. Both have desk staff that recognize you after a day or so which makes me know they are looking at who is coming into the building.

These are both 3* hotels and for me are moderately priced but not sure if that fits your criteria or not.

Enjoy Paris! What a great place to start your trip!
