Hotel along the Champs-Elysees or Galeries Lafayette

Hi I'll be in Paris for 48 hours (12/18-12/20) on my way to spend Christmas with friends in Wiesbaden. This is a power shopping and Christmas market and seeing the beautiful decorations trip. Looking for a clean friendly hotel with a concierge or staffed front desk. I'll be flying into and out of CDG. So assistance with airport transfers would be nice too. price per night around $200.

My favorite hotel, just one minute's walk from the Opera and the Galeries Lafayette is Hotel Saint Petersbourg.
The bus to and from the airport leaves JUST down the street and the breakfast at the hotel is really quite lovely.

When I stayed there they were a modest 3-star hotel, but they've since become 4 stars. The service was impeccable and if they were still a budget hotel, I'd be staying there. But their prices are pretty reasonable for the area.

I think your budget might be pretty low for a hotel with a "concierge" - this is high-roller country, after all - but there will always be front desk staff to help you with whatever you need. Any hotel will be clean, but for 200 EU, it will not be luxurious.

Printemps and Galeries Lafayette have "grooms" who will help you consolidate your purchases. I think they might even deliver them. You should Google their websites to check Customer Services.

You can ask the desk staff to call you a regular Parisian taxi - 50 EU flat fees are in effect for 4 passengers and their luggage - though the hotel might add a surcharge. Plan on at least 1 hour travel time to CDG, plus the recommended check in time.
