Any other recommendations for locations.
If reims is as good as any -can you recommend specific tour operators please. We are unfamiliar w any and the prices seem varied200-900 and we dont know which company is safe and which is well regarded

We did a balloon flight in the Dordogne last June and it was fabulous. The flight was out of La Roque Gageac. Highly recommended

We did a trip in the Loire Valley with this company https://www.aerocom.fr/.
It was the highlight of our two week trip. Be aware that weather conditions affect the ability to take off and land. This was the only company I found that only charged you if the flight was a go. Other companies will only give a rain check for a later date.
