Does anyone know how long it would take to get from Orsay Museum to Garnier Opera House on hop on hop off bus. The mileage isn't long but not sure if you would have to do most of the loop to get from stop 4 to stop 10. Both timed appointments and a lot of walking involved

From Musee d'Orsay to the Opera Garnier is less than 2 km. It's a very pleasant walk thru a beautiful part of Paris.
If you have difficulty walking, you can also take a regular bus, but given the traffic in Paris this might not be a lot quicker.

Thank you Dutch traveler. We are walking from hotel to Orsay and then walking throughout the museum was hoping hop on was a direct route then on to Eiffel Tower afterwards. But if it involves going around loop for an hour will have to rethink. thank you

You will be stopping at 6 stops. Assume that it takes at least 5 to 10 minutes between each stop. Sometimes they sit at a stop for a while and sometimes they don’t
Honestly, this should not be used as transport between sites. It’s just very inefficient.

HOHO is always a bad choice fore transport. Waits are endless and traffic is additional pain. For getting around Paris use the metro -- if the metro isn't working for your route then try a regular bus. It is about 20 minutes by bus from Orsay to Opera and about 15 minutes by metro, but that takes some walking to get to the metro and unless you change, you end up with along walk at the other end.
