I think you have to take a bus (Busverts, Ligne 120 ) to Caen, then switch to a train for the final 15-minute hop. The bus schedule isn't opening for me on my tablet, but it seems to be online, and you may have better luck. Try Googling.
I used that bus line several times last year. The buses always showed up, but traffic can cause variations in timing. Frequency may also vary seasonally, so try to find a schedule vfr the time you intend to travel, also taking note of the day of the week, which is critical.
