Honfleur restaurants

Any favorites? There seem to be quite a range?

It is beautiful but very touristy town. We ate a couple of places, and they were just ok, nothing to write home about it. See what TripAdvisor people have to suggest.

Ditto previous post. Very touristy. We got there relatively early, saw what we came to see, had lunch and left. Too many people!

I do, however, remember the meal. It was a crepe place, and I had a galette, which is gluten free. I had the "cheeses of Normandy" or something like that. It was so cheesy, and so delicious. So if you see the crepe place with a red awning, check it out.

(I tried to find it on trip advisor, I think it may be Les Marmottes, but I'm not certain.)

We had a very nice meal a year ago at the Bistro Des Artistes on Rue du Puits.

While I can not vouch for the quality of all the restaurants in Honfleur, we have eaten two or three times at the places around the harbor area. It can be very crowded but people watching and the harbor make the restaurants fun places at which to eat.

We have never eaten away from the harbor area but we have done laundry there near the church. It is a very scenic area with the harbor, shops and museum about the Impressionists. We have not gone to the Satie museum but that will be for another trip.
