We'll be winding down our two-week trip with a brief couple of days in Normandy... first at Caen and finishing with an overnight stay in Honfleur on May 1st. Just realized it's going to fall on Labor Day. I'm guessing that tourist areas like Honfleur and Deauville will have some restaurants / cafes open but can anyone tell me if they've been here on a national holiday like Labor Day?
We were in Italy one year and the crowds were overwhelming as everyone it seems took the day off!
Thanks in advance.
