I'm looking for a lodging recommendation in this area for a week long stay in June 2017. This will be the final week of a three week trip to France. My 15 year old daughter will accompany me. Pool is a must for a combination of relaxing beach/pool days with day trips throughout the region. Thanks for your feedback!
Hi, we stayed in the Old Town of Antibes several years ago with my two teenage daughters. We absolutely LOVED it. I found a great apartment on HomeAway.com. Make sure you stay inside the old town area which is all walkable. There is a public beach and a private beach nearby to walk to and swim/sun. Not sure of any with pools. We are going again and have rented another two bedroom apartment for a week. It's a much better value, privacy and you can cook and relax over a hotel. Good luck.
A quick look on vrbo revealed this 1 bed apartment (with sofa bed in lounge but no pool). Close to the train. Close to the beach.

Thank you for your replies. Seems that both of you recommend a vacation rental rather than a hotel. I appreciate your input!
I always consider an apartment preferable for stays of 5 nights or more. You have more room and can take advantage of great produce markets to cook for yourself.
