Home/Apt. Rental..MorningCroissant.com ???

Anyone have any experience or knowledge with this rental company? Seems legit. How could I confirm? Less red tape and seemingly more choices than ABnB. TY

Looking to do a long term rental sometime next year. 3 months - 1 year.

Never heard of them but have heard of Paris perfect.

Worth looking at those listings.

Also worth researching all the do’s and don’ts pertaining to long term rentals in Paris.

I have no experience with apartment rentals so will leave it to others to assist with that. I want to be sure, though, that--assuming you have only US or Canadian citizenship--you realize you would need a long-stay visa (not a simple thing to get) in order to spend more than 90 days within any rolling 180-day period in the Schengen area (which includes France as well as most countries in continental western Europe). If this is a work- or school-related trip, you'll be able to get assistance with the necessary visa.

This dates back to 2014, but I had a bad experience with Morning Croissant. Hopelessly disorganized. And although I made it clear what time zone I'm in (Mountain time, western US), before the trip they kept calling me at what was 4 AM for me - and not for anything important. The apartment I got through them was fine but turned out to be available on multiple other platforms as well, so I wished I'd booked it in another way.
There are a lot of rental options in many French cities.

Morning Croissant has been around a long time. They have always focused on longer rentals along rather than short tourist rentals. Therefore, with the crackdown on tourist rentals, their primary business for rentals over 3 months didn't duffer. In the past we used a different company, Lodgis, many times. This company also has abandoned tourist rentals and now handles what you are seeking.

It is not the agency that can be a concern as much as it is the apartments they rent. I would normally stay away from any listing not showing its government required, 13 digit registration number. However, as long as you are not simply a tourist and you have a professional/student reason to stay at least 1 month, you can qualify for a mobility lease, (bail mobilité). The terms of a mobility lease should be much more attractive than those of a simple short term lease.
