My husband and I plan on spending 2 nights in Normandy to visit the Normandy invasion beaches. I would like to hire a car to pick us up at CDG airport to take us to Bayeux. Does anyone have any suggestions for a driver and also any idea of the cost? I have thought about the train but we are in our 70's and am concerned about luggage and making connections in a timely fashion.

We use Paris Transvan in for CDG to our hotel. Their website is http://www.paris-transvan.com/
We have used them for years. I know that they do make arrangements for trips outside of the city. But to hire a reputable car service to drive from the airport to a place outside of Paris can be very high. For private car service from the airport to hotel, you may look at 50+ Euro each way, so I have a feeling the trip you are looking at would be much higher. Not sure of your luggage, but the train to Bayeaux from Paris is easy to do. I agree though, you might have difficulty putting your bag on the train depending on the weight. If you find a private car service/company a bit high - you could try and find a driver via Uber.
