Hello! I am heading to Paris next weekend and as you may know, there is a national strike underway. I am planning to use the Metro to get from the airport to my apartment but I am looking at reserving a car, instead, as a taxi might be hard to come by if everyone is trying to get one due to the trains not being available. Does anyone have a recommendation for a car service?
Where is your apartment (roughly, we don't need the address)?
The metro strike is basically over, so once you're in Paris you're good. There are still some significant disturbances on the RER B from the airport (50% of trains running), but we can't say if there still will be some problems next weekend, and even if only 50% of trains are running you'll still be able to get on one at the airport: it is the first stop.
Hi there, I had a great experience with Jetcab last fall, who picked me up from CDG airport and took me to the Montparnasse train station:

Thanks for the replies!
I was there during the strike. We took an Uber one day. No problem getting one
we flagged the cab down on the street one day. Don’t panic you’ll be fine.
We arrived at CDG last week and there were plenty of taxis at the taxi stand. Flat rate to hotel of 55€.
Thanks for the insights. My friend and I are 'splurging' on a private car. :-)
The RER strike is still on so it is a good call.
