Help with winter side trip near Chamonix

I will spend 5 days skiing at Chamonix next week. After that, I will have two extra days/nights for non-ski places before I fly out from Geneva.

I can take trains, with two nights stay at the places. France/Swiss/Italy are all fine.

Annency is often included in a Chamonix-Geneva itinerary since it is a beautiful town with just enough to see and do for a day or two and it is geographically close.
