Help Wanted: August Itinerary

Hello! I'd love some itinerary help.

We land at CDG the morning of August 11 and depart on the evening of August 21st.

Here's my "wish list"
- I'd like to spend the first half of the trip in Paris doing the typical touristy stuff (our first time!)
- A day trip to Veuve for my 40th bday
- Flower Carpet in Brussels (if possible)
- Versailles
- Second half of the trip in Provence (focusing on markets and charming villages)

Thank you!

This is rough outline how you could do it:
Spend August 11, 12, 13, 14, in Paris ( include your daytrip to Veuve):
Here is info on how to do a day trip to Veuve:
https://lavieongrand.com/day-trip-to-veuve-clicquot-from-paris/

On August 15th catch the train to Brussels to see the Flower Carpet as a day trip; it only takes an an 1 hour 30 minutes to get there
https://www.eurostar.com/us-en/train/paris-to-brussels

On August 16 catch the train to either Nimes or Aix en Provence.
Spend August 16, 17, 18, 19 based in one of those towns and either rent a car to explore other towns like St Remy, Arles, Gordes, Rousillon, Les Baux, or you can buy an all day small group tour.
August 20, take the train back to Paris.
August 21 fly home from Paris

Keep in mind that the Olympics Closing ceremony is scheduled for August 11.

The Paralympics don't start for a couple of weeks after that, so after the 11th, there is a bit of a break, but be aware of the 11th when looking for hotels etc.

I researched my 2022 Paris trip. I think that all of my links are still good if you want to see them.

I would suggest you search Versailles in the search bar to find really worthy opinions/experiences/comments in this forum, so if you must go and must go in August, you can have the best possible experience!
