Help booking TGV tickets on SNCF website

Hi,

We want to travel from Paris to Nice in August, on the TGV. I went to the SNCF website (https://www.sncf.com/en ), where it showed me the scheduled ( 10:30 TGV INOUI). However, I am unable to proceed - there does not seem to be a 'book now' next step? Do I need to go to some other site to make the actual purchace?

I initially thought Aug schedule might not be released, so tried May - but same issue. Help!

Also, is INOUI the only TGV option? I read that this is the 'low fare version' of the TGV and I prefer the 'regular' TGV.

Thanks in advance.

The website to buy tickets is www.sncf-connect.com
The one you checked only gives the times... useless but well that's SNCF for you 🙄

As for TGV Inouï: that's the regular TGV. The low-cost one is Ouigo, and you are right to prefer the regular one!

Oh wow..thanks for providing the correct link to make an actual booking and also clarifying about INOUI

Yes - the https://www.sncf-connect.com site let me reserve a booking for the date we were looking for. Was nice that it let me pick upper vs lower deck and seats.

Thanks!

I'm planning to purchase TGV tickets also and am curious as to how the "Regular TGV" differs from the INOUI?

TGV INOUI is the regular TGV, see here on Seat 61 for pictures
OUIGO is the low-cost version, with tighter seating, no catering, strict luggage allowances and a 30-min check-in time.
In general, TGV INOUI is the way to go. Booked in advance, it is still cheap, and offers more flexibility than OUIGO.
