I am sitting here at work and have BFMTV (a French news channel) on - and happened to turn on the sound as a deputy director of the Louvre was answering a question from a journalist about what the Louvre was going to do with regard to American tourists who don't have French health pass/QR code but only have their CDC card.
She said that at least for this first bit, until they hear otherwise from the French government, the Louvre is going to accept CDC cards as proof of vaccination. Her quote was something along the lines of it was good enough to get them across the border into the country, it's good enough for them to enter here.
And before you ask - no, I don't have any idea whether this means a couple of days or a couple of weeks. will update if I hear more.
At the Eiffel Tower, meanwhile, they have set up testing stations so that anyone who doesn't have a health pass can take an antigen test and GET a health pass (the 48-hour valuable negative Covid test). Cost will be €25, according to this article in Le Parisien from last night.
Masks will remain required in the Eiffel Tower, and the elevators to the first two floors wll only take 50% of the passengers they would take in normal times.
