We're planning to catch a train back to Paris from Mont St. Michel via Pontorson train station at 9 am in August. Does anybody know how early buses come to Mont St. Michel to pick up passengers to drop off at the train station? Is there a website where bus schedules are posted?

I traveled via train from Paris to Rennes, which has more frequent train connections than Pontorson. On weekdays the shuttle bus leaves the Mont at 08:45 and arrives at the train station at 09:03. The train leaves at 09:14.

Thanks for the info - very helpful. Might have to consider a taxi ride from Mont St. Michel as the shuttle schedule seems very tight.

The shuttle is timed to the train. The station is small. Save your money.

You're on the right track with either the shuttle bus to Pontorson station or the longer coach ride to Rennes station.
