I'm usually a detailed planner, but our plans changed suddenly and now we will be in Annecy for two nights. This will be our first two nights in Europe and we would like good meals, but not really fine dining. Any recommendations?
there are a lot of tourist restaurants with lousy food in the center along the canal. One we enjoyed a block or so off the canal was Le Pas Sage. Short menu -- had good fish dishes and good meat dishes. By far the best place we ate in a brief visit of 4 nights.
Thank you!
I was with 3 local French women and we ate at Kelsa Bar and Restaurant-13 Rue de I’lle. They had a fish specialty and I had a tarteflette of course! They certainly had no complaints and mine was good too.
My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious pizza and fresh salad at Le Sapaudia, and very tasty crepes at Crêperie Ti Mad.
We were in Annecy some years ago but these 2 restaurants are still receiving great reviews, enjoy!
We enjoyed our dinner at Chez Ingalls. Great atmosphere. Wonderful service. Easy to find. It’s midway between the river and the train station.
