Have you stayed at the Novotel Confluence in Lyon?

Not sure I quite like the Steves recommended ones for Lyon...wondering if there are any further suggestions from anyone on this board.

Why don't you check on Trip Advisor. I've only used a RS book for traveling once, but I didn't like the two hotels we stayed in that RS recommended.

We liked RS recommended La Residence on Victor Hugo. Great staff, within walking distance to what we wanted to see, and facing a pedestrian only street.

I can HIGHLY recommend "La Chambre d'Hugo" which is a private room with large private bathroom on Victor Hugo. Go to Trip Advisor and read the reviews;every word of praise is well deserved. I posted a review on July 11, 2013. The owners are truly lovely people and they will do anything they can to make your stay an enjoyable one. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to ask Christine for directions to the small antique store owned by a woman named Marilyn. It is the most unique store I have ever been in. I found some cameo pendants there that are just gorgeous. The owner of the store is very interesting. Have a wonderful time....you will enjoy Lyon.
