My husband and I will be in France in October. We have booked a RS recommended hotel, the Hotel Saint-Louis Marais. When we were in Paris 2 years ago we stayed in his recommended Rue Cler hotel, Hotel Relais Bosquet and loved it. This time though we wanted to be in a more central location. Has anyone stayed in this hotel? We are booked for 5 nights before heading to Normandy and then the Loire Valley, so we'd like this longer visit to Paris to be somewhere good.

Have either of you checked this hotel on TripAdvisor.com? I'd go there to see their rating and read reviews.

Good suggestion Susan. Just checked it out and they were quite good. The ranking of the hotel was #350 out of almost 1,800 hotels, so that's pretty good given that it's a more modestly priced hotel.

cyclecraig, that rating (actually #332) and all the good reviews on TA would be good enough for me. Plus, the Marais is a great area... Have fun!
