For anyone that has had the experience of being in Paris during the Technoparade, I would appreciate your observations. After making a commitment to be in Paris for several days, including the parade day, it would be helpful to know if the overflow of the crowds and noise associated with the parade (400,000 people so is said) impact "normal tourist activities". This year the parade will end on the right bank near the Bastille. It starts below the SE edge of the Luxembourg Gardens in the AM. Some activities continue for about a week ... to what extent I do not know. We have an apartment on the far NW edge of the Luxembourg Gardens; the opposite side of the Gardens from the parade route. We have been in Paris before (used to the Metro, etc.) and are experienced Euro travelers.
