Has any US-based user tried to buy SNCF discount card?

I was trying to purchase the Oui.SNCF discount card and when entering my address info, for country, the drop down menu has every other country but the United States.

Has anyone from the US been able to purchase the Adulte discount card?

Thank you!

Yes. I was able to get the Carte Senior online but their system then promptly shut me out of purchasing tickets. If at all possible wait till you arrive in France to make your purchase.

I was hoping to take advantage of the Black Friday discount passes for 25EU. How did you enter your address?

Since there was no place for a USA address I think I used France - that didn’t work out too well!

Hi Jill, have you tried setting up an account on the oui.sncf home page first? That’s what I did, using US address. Then, l logged in to my account, and bought a discount card. That way you may be able to avoid the problems with the address fields.

If that doesn’t work, others in the past have suggested the oui.sncf app.

SNCF ticketing had major issues yesterday, it was impossible to buy tickets online for a few hours (!!) due to a bug where the same seat could be assigned to two different people... which actually happened to me yesterday morning (thankfully the train was empty).
All solved now, so time to try again perhaps?
And yes, USA is États Unis in French.

My husband and I got ours yesterday. On the drop down of countries to choose from it didn’t show the U.S. I selected ‘Other Countries’ and that worked for me.
