Does anyone know if you have to purchase advance tickets to the Gustave Moreau Museum in Paris? I see their hours are Wed - Mon 10 am - 6 pm. The English translation on their website doesn't work, but the translation says advance tickets are required... I find this a little hard to believe as it is a lesser known museum. Hoping to just walk in...

You are correct that it's not a mob scene. Rather than crowd control, this could be that they don't sell tickets there.
I clicked on today, tomorrow, and two weeks from now. Today, the most crowded hour has four tickets out of the 100 available reserved, tomorrow had only a couple of tickets reserved, and in two weeks 100 tickets were available for every hour of the day.
