Has anyone taken a guided walking tour Of Montmartre with "Discover Walks"
What was your opinion of them and what time of day is it best to take this tour.

I haven't used this service but I see that the walks are "free," i.e. you tip the guide. Nothing wrong with that but there could be a lot of variation in the quality of the walk and guide.

You didn't ask, but Paris Walks offers professionally guided, high quality walks in Montmartre and elsewhere for a fixed payment. I know the Montmartre walk is excellent. The schedule is on the website. No reservation needed, just show up.

As for the best time of day, I don't think it matters much (daytime vs. evening would matter, your choice). If I had a choice, I guess I'd pick a morning walk for less crowded sidewalks and more energy available. Have fun!

Two thumbs up for Paris Walks. We took them all over the city and very much enjoy the one of the Montmartre. No reservation necessary. Just meet up near the designated metro stop and fork over the appropriate amount (they are a good value).
