Guided tour from Paris to Provence

I'll be in Paris in early August and would like to take an extra 3-4 days to see one other area of France. My party is one adult and one teenager, no car. My goal is to enjoy local village site seeing, food, lavender. Water would be nice but not a priority. I need the trip to be simple and peaceful vs. hurried. I welcome suggestions, including small and/or private tours. Thank you :)

Instead of having a guide put you on a train to Provence & then being a tour guide in Provence you may want to do the train portion yourself. And then find a guide in the city you are going to stay in. It looks as if it's about 4.5 hours Paris-Aix en Provence on train & a bus transfer.

Here is one guide service in Aix en Provence

You can find train connections on Google maps

have fun! and report back (I really want to see Provence)

Without a car, take the train from Paris to Avignon and base there or one of the small towns nearby that can be reached by train. The train from Paris to Avignon is under 3 hrs. There are several tour operators who can take you for half or full-day tours to the lavender fields from Avignon. Arles, Nimes, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, and Marseille are all close by for day trips from the City Centre train station. You can also catch a bus to St. Remy. Almost everything else would require a car or tour. It's pretty laid back in this region of France.
