I am wondering if anyone has any contacts for a good local guide in the Strasbourg region. My husband and I will be in Alsace in June. I am descended from the Engels family who came from Germany at the request of the French king to begin manufacturing swords. The location for this factory was a small town Klingenthal located about 30 kilometers from Strasbourg. There is a museum in Klingenthal with a collection of these arms that I think would be interesting to see.
