We're planning to attend the Christmas markets at Strasbourg & Colmar. We will be carless. Does anyone know of a good tour guide or small group tour (local) that can drive us around the Alsace region for 4 hours and then drop us off at Colmar?

Reach out to Arnaud at L'Alsaciette. www.alsaciette.com. They do food and wine tours, custom tours, anything you can dream up! We enjoyed an afternoon in September with him.

If you are starting in Colmar, and you are there on a Friday or weekend, just take the Christmas Shuttle. With only 4 hours including travel, I think one of the villages will fill your time.

If you are there in the middle of the week, a local bus runs from Colmar to Riquewihr and Ribeauville. Line 816 or 817.

I ditto the recommendation for Arnaud! He was absolutely fantastic. He picked us up in Colmar and dropped us off (we were staying in Strasbourg and took the train) and was such a great host. It was one of our most memorable days of our 2+ weeks on our Christmas market/France vacation.
