Guidance on Choosing Train Line

Hi All,
We a four member family ( myself, wife, kids (5+8) arriving in Switzerland on 15th March.
After few days sightseeing in Switzerland, we are planning to go to Paris. Our final stay in Switzerland will be Zermatt.
Can you guide me on choosing appropriate train to reach Paris, can we get direct train from Zermatt to Paris, or we have to move to Geneva to start the train journey to Paris.

Similar way, also helpful if you all can guide on choosing right train from Paris to Amsterdam on 26th March.

Thank you all in advance.

Thanks

Go to www.sbb.ch/en and put in your dates and from Zermatt to Paris.
You'll see the fastest and fewest changes goes Zermatt to Visp to Lausanne to Paris, leaving at 9:13 and taking 6 hours and 50 minutes. You can buy tickets on that site. No direct trains because the Zermatt to Visp train is narrow gauge and it is standard gauge the rest of the way. Double check your date before buying.

Paris to Amsterdam at www.thalys.com for fast direct trains. Buy there.

You don't need to know what is the appropriate train route from A to B, that is what the various train compnay timetable websites are for.
Just go to (for example) the SBB (=Swiss Federal Railways) website: https://www.sbb.ch/en
And enter Zermatt to Paris, with a date and time. It will give you the quickest route, tell you how many trains that involves, and if you choose the expand option it will show you all the places and times you need to change.
You will not get a direct train Zermatt to Paris. Trains are designed to be a connecting network, unless you are going big city to big city, it is normal to change trains 1 or 2 times.

For Paris to Amsterdam you can look that up and buy tickets on: https://www.trainline.eu/
