Great dining experience in Paris for family group?

Our family will be heading back to Paris this Easter for the second year in a row, hooray! What was going to be a trip for just our family of 6 now has grown to 14 with other family members deciding to join us. I am looking for some suggestions for restaurants in Paris that do well working with groups. Looking for good atmosphere and food....and yes, I know we will pay a pretty penny for this!! Thanks again in advance, this group is such an amazing resource of travelers who are generous with their wisdom!

I think it might help if you use the Edit button to add "in Paris" to the title of your thread. That should attract the attention of the folks who know the city well.

I think it depends on where you are staying. I'd say that any restaurant that has accommodated a RS tour group would be able to handle your family group.

IF you are in the 7th near the Ecole Militaire stop, La Terrasse du 7eme has an upstairs room they will reserve for a group. I've eaten there twice with RS groups and I usually eat there on my visits to Paris.

I've eaten at La Terrasse with a large group of friends as well.
I think that there were about 10 of us, and we had a reservation for lunch.
We all enjoyed our meals and were treated very professionally by the wait staff.
The upstairs room is very airy and spacious.
There was another large (perhaps) family group a well.

Les Papilles has a room downstairs with a large table that they will reserve for you. I don't know if it can seat 14 but it would be worth checking it out.
