We were in Paris for 4 nights the end of October 2016 and took a personalized tour in a vintage deux chevaux. We booked through Paris Authentique and would highly recommend them. They responded promptly to our first email and to the subsequent emails when we had questions. Our driver/guide, Jean Luc, was very knowledgeable since he is a retired Paris cabbie. This was our 5th trip to Paris so we had been to many sites, but Jean Luc showed us lots of little known places and had a wealth of information to share.

How far in advance did you book the tour? I'd like to do this in June, but I do worry about hitting a rainy day/night.

I booked the first wk in Aug for the last week in Oct. I was concerned abt rain also. It was raining the day we went but it didn't really hinder our enjoyment of the ride/tour. Jean Luc gave us paper towels which we had to use frequently to clear the side windows, but it was part of the adventure.
June is likely to be more crowded than late October so I'd book ASAP.
