Grand Crus winery wine tastings in Beaune

A few years ago, we took a very nice van tour with several stops at wineries with Grand Cru wines. Now these are not the rare big price wines, like the one I saw in an Aspen restaurant for $48,000 a bottle (Domaine Romanee-Conti, 1985).
With the driver/guide giving entree, we had several tastings along the way. The tour was not that expensive, as it was shared with 3 other couples. We bought a few bottles along the way, but stuck with the more reasonably priced Premier Cru. Still a bargain based on US wine shop prices.

Thank you for the information. Do you happen to remember the name of the tour or the company? I have to add that every time I read something about the Romanee Conti wines from the 80s it makes me want to cry because I drank the bottle of Le Tache I had back then not realizing how much it could be worth LOL

They did start in Dijon, but you can probably arrange to get picked up at Nuits-St Georges station, as the first stop was just south of there. They were very helpful. Stopped in Beaune for lunch break (on our own) then the driver dropped us at our new hotel in Beaune at the end of the day.
