We will be traveling by car from Gordes to Beaune. It is roughly a 4 1\2 - 5 hour drive. Check in at our B&B is 3:00, so we have some extra time. What are some places along the way that would be worth a stop? It looks like we will be taking A7 and A6 for the fastest route. Not really interested in getting off in larger cities, like Lyon, unless there is something that is a must-see. But any smaller towns or villages along the way would be good. We will probably stop for lunch along the way. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
