Has anyone golfed in France or the Netherlands? If tips, advise and suggestions on where and prices would be great.

Here's a website which will give you locations of golf courses in France. There aren't any in Ile-de-France (Paris), but many are not far away:

There is a golf course just outside of Versailles where they are playing the 2018 Ryder cup . Went there last year and got some memorabilia . Not sure if it's open to the public , but worth a try

There is a great golf course in Fontainebleau. It is open to the public on weekdays.
