Giverny

It doesn't matter it is always crowded. We went on a Monday because it used to be closed on Mondays and not all the guidebooks have caught up. We thought it would have smaller crowds -- not so much. Get tickets ahead. The crowds are surprisingly not much of a problem. You can see our snapshots one May here:

In spite of the crowds people were gracious and we had no trouble getting good pictures -- the picture at the top of my photo journal was taken by another tourist as we took turns on the wisteria bridge having our photos taken by each other. The most important thing is to come with tickets in hand so you don't have to wait in a long ticket line before entering.
