I will be traveling to Versailles for a day trip from Paris.
My hotel is near the Arc de Triomphe, so I will be starting at the Charles de Gaulle Etoile Station. I will take Line 6 to the Eiffel Tower. This is where my question is. It looks like the Eiffel Tower has two stops: Champ de Mars and Bir-Hakeim. Which station will Line 6 drop me off at? And which is the correct station for the RER C? Can you get between both without exiting the system?

When looking for metro or RER routings, use the ratp website's itinerary planner. Takes most of the guesswork out of it. https://www.ratp.fr/en/itineraires
There is an app for your phone as well, just be sure you are on wifi or you have international coverage.
Line 6 goes to Bir-Hakeim, which has a connection to Champ de Mars which is on the RER C line. Be sure to take an RER C train from Champ de Mars that is heading to Versailles Rive Gauche and not one heading to Pontoise or Saint Quentin.
