Getting to Le Borget from the Vavin Metro Station

Heading out to Paris soon and hoping that someone has made the trip out there recently. Looking for the most direct route from Vavin Metro to the Air Museum at Le Borget airport. Be aware that I have about zero fluency in French outside the normal courtesies a traveler must know to survive.

Thank for your help!

Well, this web page is in French, but the graphics are clear and you can use google translate if you want the actual verbiage. http://www.museeairespace.fr/acces/en-bus/
Looks like for you, the best way is to take the No 4 Metro to Denfert-Rochereau and change to the RER B to Le Bourget station and then the No 152 bus to the museum. An alternate is to take the No 4 Metro the other direction to Gare de L'Est and take the No 350 bus from there.

You can also walk from Vavin to Port Royal, to take there the RER B directly to station Le Bourget. From there the bus according Sam’s info or even a sturdy (30min.?) walk to the museum.
The museum is absolutely worth a visit, a lot of unique things to see, much more then just the two Concordes. Last June I was so lucky to see a part of the airshow from the museums terrace as the icing on the cake.

Enjoy the visit!
