We are going on a Crystal Cruise in August. The ship docks about 1 PM in Honfleur on Aug 8 and departs Honfleur Aug 9 at 9 PM. Is it feasible to do a trip into Paris with this amount of time...about 27 hours? We would spend the night of Aug 8 in Paris not on the ship. We welcome your thoughts.

Yes, it's feasible. You will start with a bus to Le Havre, Lisieux, Caen, or Rouen, all of which have direct train service to Paris. Or a taxi to Le Havre is 25 km and 30 minutes. The train portion of the trip takes 2 - 2.5 hours. Either the bus station or the Tourist Info office in Honfleur will help with schedules. Buses # 20, 39, and 50 are all candidates. After you price out the cost of taxi plus bus plus train, check with your Crystal cruise director to see if there is a transfer on offer from Honfleur to Paris at a comparable price. Sure would be easier.
