getting refund for cancelled train from strike

Sure enough, our OUI train was cancelled by the strike in early May. we just returned and I am having fits trying to find the right on-line way to a refund on the OUI site -- I am going around and around -- with all of the cancelled trains due to the strike, one would think there would be an easy link.

Since I don't speak French, I'm concerned about trying to call and there is no 800 number listed. anyone have any advice?

Try the SNCF website customer service, claims. Then start dispute charge with the credit card.

Wait! Companies can't refund once a dispute has been implemented. If you are sure you'll win the dispute, go for it. If you lose the dispute, it could make a refund more complicated.

Edit: https://www.oui.sncf/train/greve#block4 It says that tickets for trains in April and May can no longer be exchanged or reimbursed on the website. Click on "Je consulte mes conditions" and use Google Translate to help you. There are links to every kind of train: TGV, Lyria, TER, that you need to follow depending on your situation.

We received an email and requested the refund. The website was a bit complicated and frustrating to deal with. The good news is that we were refunded in full very quickly.
