Getting Ready to Book Air to and From Paris

I am going to book air today to and from Paris.

It will be either on American or Delta. Both offer good prices although American is about $200 less but I prefer the offerings on Delta.

I have a question. On one of the flights home, I would be connecting in Atlanta. My connecting time would be about 3 1/2 hours. I am thinking that would be enough time without any nail biting but thought that I would ask forum.

Would be flying in from Paris and have 3 1/2 hours connecting time to fly home to Austin. I have been to the Atlanta airport more than once and know that it is huge.

Does that sound like enough time without nail biting? This assumes that the plane from Paris leaves more or less on time and arrives more or less on time.

Yes, that is enough time. No one can promise that there won't be any irregular operations on any given flight, but that should be enough time. Ask yourself, what is the worst that can happen? If your flight is so late that it arrives and you can't make your connection, the airline will get you on the next available flight to Austin, has a duty of care, and will probably owe you money under EU261. Why borrow trouble and worry? If you like those flights, purchase them.
