Getting from Vernon train station to Giverny hotel

Hi all, I'm hoping to get some advice on the Giverny portion of my trip.

I'm planning to spend 2-3 nights in Giverny in the summer. I will have a suitcase and backpack with me, and I'm traveling solo. I wanted to take the train from Paris, which I understand drops you off in Vernon. Since I will have luggage, what's the best way to get from the train station in Vernon to a hotel in Giverny? Are taxis or Uber available in this area? I understand there's a shuttle from the train station to the gardens, but since I would be going to a hotel, I wanted to understand what my options were.

I would also like to possibly bike from Giverny to Vernon one afternoon - are bike rentals available in Giverny?

Thank you all so much for any help you can offer!

Uber is not available.
There are a few taxis in Vernon, but in a town of that size they are unlikely to wait at the station: the best course of action is to ask your hotel to either (1) give you the taxis' phone numbers or (2) book a taxi for you once you know when you arrive.
As for bikes on Giverny: I don't know - there are definitely some in Vernon, maybe they can deliver.

Thanks so much, balso! That's very helpful. I'll definitely reach out to my hotel and ask for their help. :)
