Getting from Beauvais airport to Orly aiport

We are flying into Beauvais airport and need to fly out of Orly airport, same day. (cheapest way) Please suggest how to get from airport to airport the quickest and perhaps most economical. Thank you

Beauvais Shuttle to Porte Maillot in Paris is step one of the cheapest way: http://www.aeroportbeauvais.com/bus.php?lang=eng

From Porte Maillot, you could take the RERand OrlyVal to Orly. That would mean taking the RER C to St-Michel-Notre-Dame and changing there for the RER B. You would exit the RER B at Antony and change for the OrlyVal shuttle. Or you could take the RER B to Denfert Rochereau and take the Orly Bus. You can look up prices etc at www.ratp.fr/en. If you are on a very tight budget and have lots of time, you could take Metro Line 1 to Palais Royal -- Musee de Louvre and change to Line 7 and take that to the end of the line. At the end of the time you would change for Tram T7. Another option, and IMO the easiest, is to make your way from Porte Maillot to Etoile and from there take Le Bus Direct to Orly (www.lebusdirect.com).

How many is 'We' -- if it is 3, it will be cheaper to take a cab from Port Maillot to Orly. If it is two, it is still worth doing. It will cost 15 on the shuttle bus from Beauvais to Paris (Port Maillot) From there to Orly by public transport is about 25 Euro for two; the cab fare, flat rate would be 30 Euro for two (or three or four). WE always take a cab to Orly as public transport is cumbersome and not cheap.

Beauvais to Orly is a looooong haul. I hope these flights are many, MANY hours apart. And that you have no delays on your flight into Beauvais.

You may wish to have a backup plan for flying out of Orly. That airport, rather than CDG, was particularly affected by the partial air traffic controller strike.

The cheap RyanAir ticket may not seem like a bargain after the time and extra cost to get to Orly. You'll probably need to allow at least three hours, which doesn't include security or check-in for your next flight.

As others have suggested, the best balance between cost and time will probably be the Bus to Neuilly Porte Maillot, and then Taxi to Orly.

Porte Maillot is on the Right Bank so the flat rate for the taxi will be 35 euros.

Thank you to everyone's recommendations. I didn't know about the strike but we aren't flying until August so hopefully it will be over by then.
